Very welcoming dental practice. My hygienist was very nice and thorough in explaining my dental procedures and in their completion. The supervising dentist was also very nice and completed his check of the hygienist's work thoroughly. He also asked if I had any questions. I would highly recommend this practice even if you're nervous of dental services. The staff is wonderful and will make you feel very at ease.

No Matter Your Emergency, We Can Help

We understand that when you are unexpectedly experiencing a dental emergency, you may not know who to turn to because you aren't sure what the issue is. That's why we offer a wide range of services to help you in any dental emergency. Some of the most common dental emergencies we see are:

  • Broken or chipped teeth. This is one of the most common dental emergencies and can often be treated with a filling or crown. We will evaluate your tooth and prescribe the right treatment to get you back on track.
  • Toothaches. If you're suffering from a toothache, we might be able to prescribe a toothache medication or an antibiotic. However, if your pain is severe and doesn't go away after taking medicine, please give us a call as you may need a filling or other treatment.
  • Lost teeth. If you lose a tooth, it's important to see a dentist as soon as possible. We may be able to help you put a cap on the tooth so you can get back to eating and drinking normally.
  • Swelling gums, cheeks, lips, or tongue. If you are experiencing swelling in any of these areas, it could be a sign of infection. Please call our office right away so we can help you get the treatment you need.
  • Bleeding gums. Bleeding gums is often a sign of gum disease, and if left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. We will be able to diagnose the issue and prescribe the appropriate treatment.
  • Lost or damaged dental crowns or bridges. If you have other dental work, it's important to replace lost or damaged crowns and bridges. We can help assess the issue and replace your missing dental appliance.
  • Broken dental braces. If your braces break, it's important to see a dentist as soon as possible. Broken brackets can be painful and may cause infection. We can also help you with adjusting your braces if they are causing discomfort or irritation.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please call our office and we can get you in for an emergency appointment. We will be able to determine the cause of your symptoms, offer treatment options, and help you get on the road to recovery. We accept and welcome all types of dental emergencies, so please don't hesitate to call us.

Oftentimes, Emergency Dental Issues Can Be Prevented

While not all dental emergencies can be prevented, many of them can. It's important to know what actions you can take to prevent dental emergencies, and what you can do to help your teeth stay healthy. Some tips for preventing dental emergencies are:

  • Brushing your teeth twice a day. This is the most important thing you can do to keep your teeth healthy and free of plaque and bacteria.
  • Flossing. Flossing helps to remove food and plaque from between your teeth, preventing bacteria buildup.
  • Mouthwash. Using a mouthwash can help kill bad breath-causing bacteria and keep your teeth healthy.
  • Regular dental check-ups. It's important to see a dentist every six months for a routine check-up. This will help keep your teeth healthy and spot any potential problems before they become serious issues.
  • Avoiding sugary, acidic, or hard foods that can damage your tooth enamel. Some of the worst foods for your teeth are those that are high in sugar or acid or are hard and crunchy. These foods can cause cavities and tooth decay, and if your tooth enamel is damaged due to these foods or drinks, it can lead to a dental emergency.
  • Wear a mouthguard if you play sports. Mouthguards can help protect your teeth from being knocked out or damaged if you are participating in physical activity.
  • Include proper vitamins in your diet. It's important to get the right nutrients for your teeth. Some good nutrients for oral health are Vitamins A, B, and C.
  • Take notice of any changes in your teeth. If you notice any changes to your teeth, such as discoloration or sensitivity, it's important to see a doctor.

Don't wait for a dental emergency to happen. If you have been putting off going to the dentist, and are now experiencing a dental emergency, now is the time for you to visit us. We want to help you get a healthy mouth and get back on the road to good oral health.
