I was referred here by a coworker and I'm so thankful. Hands down the best dental team I've ever been with. Every one there is very positive and communicative. the first time I went, they showed me things they could see from my x-rays and how she could tell. explained things that had my prior dentists told me I'd have changed plenty of habits before it got to this point. and they really want to work with you. I have already started to recommend them to people I know. thanks team!

For someone with a love hate relationship with dentist I was nervous to even book the appointment. When I arrived the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly the woman who helped the dentist (forgot her name) made me feel so welcomed I will definitely be back because of her treatment. I was a nervous wreck and she made me comfortable enough to return.

Emergency Dental Services We Offer

There are several types of dental emergencies we can treat. You might have a toothache that continues to aggravate you, or you might have taken a blow to the face and damaged your tooth. No matter what the cause is, Dr. Vivi and her team will be ready to assist you and provide the care you need.

The services we provide include:

  • Toothache Relief - We've met many patients who either ignored or never knew the early signs of a toothache. This can lead to more problematic issues, as toothaches are typically a symptom of a larger concern that needs to be addressed. While over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol can provide temporary relief, these shouldn't be relied on as a long-term solution. If you are suffering from a persistent toothache, we can help you treat the cause of the problem and provide permanent relief.
  • Jaw Swelling Reduction - Your dental health doesn't just involve your teeth and gums. Your jawbone and the surrounding tissue are also important as a support system for your teeth. If you notice swelling in your jaw, this could be a sign of an infection. When left untreated, the infection can spread throughout the jawbone and into neighboring tissue. It's important to have any jaw swelling looked at to preserve your oral health.
  • Gum Pain - Dr. Vivi and her team can provide relief for gum pain. Gum pain is usually a sign that there is a problem in the deeper tissue of the gums. We will help you find the cause of the gum pain and create the right treatment plan.
  • Root Canals - Root canals can be used to save a tooth that is damaged or decayed. For most of our patients, the tooth in question previously needed a crown or filling. Root canals restore the connection between the root and tooth, which will preserve the tooth and provide pain relief. This procedure also avoids the need to extract the tooth.
  • Avulsed and Damaged Tooth Care - This is also known as a “knockout.” This situation is caused by an accident such as a sports injury or car accident. When a tooth is knocked out, it's recommended you seek treatment as soon as you can. This is so a dentist can examine the socket area to ensure there is no further damage. Sometimes, the tooth can also be restored and saved. Other dental damage can involve chips, cracks, and breaks, and you should seek care if you experience any of these. No situation is the same, so seek professional care if you damage a tooth.
  • Extractions - If one or more of your teeth are severely damaged or decayed, your best solution might be to remove the tooth. This is to prevent an infection from spreading throughout your mouth. Extractions help protect the surrounding teeth from infection and can provide permanent pain relief.
  • Filling and Crown Repair - Fillings and crowns aim to protect teeth that have required dental work in the past. While these are made to fit your teeth, occasionally they can fall out. If you experience this, visit a professional as soon as possible to replace or repair the crown or filling. This is to prevent any further damage from occurring.

How to Prevent Dental Emergencies

Dental emergencies can cause a lot of stress and pain. Not every emergency is avoidable, but many can be prevented with proper dental care. By maintaining a regular schedule of brushing and flossing, you'll be able to protect your teeth and gums from infection and damage.
