Dr. Sutherland went to undergraduate school at the University of California at San Diego. During his time at UCSD, Dr. Sutherland played on the Triton baseball team. While at college, Dr. Sutherland was an Economics major when one of his teammates headed off to dental school, sparking his interest in dentistry.
